This person will help people who have questions about how to incorporate GenEd objectives into their classes and make sure that documents relating to the GenEd program are current. Make GenEd goals and teaching requirements clear to new faculty and adjuncts. The resource person will conduct in-service trainings each semester. Create an ad hoc Senate committee for GenEd review. The committee will meet for one year every five years. Department chairs need to agree that every department will use the GenEd. outcomes on their syllabi. The Technological Understanding objective should include information literacy. Change the name of the Personal Wellness objective to Personal Growth and Personal Responsibility. In the Critical Thinking objective, include creative or holistic thinking. Have three objectives only per course faculty will choose which ones to include in each course. Simplify text that will appear on syllabi (this will be the responsibility of the Ad Hoc committee).
