Lynne spoke to Lori Gilbert and she will be at Yongs studio at 6:00PM on the 19th to do the interview. Lynne is unsure about the newspaper. RDT did not want the video on Facebook. Educational Outreach- Pat Sutamori very interested in hosting dancers, but space is a problem. The Convention Center is $300 which is too much for ICE. The Folklife Center is $100; they charge this for clean up, toilet paper, etc. Some suggestions were to have the students walk to GBC, or have the parents drop them off at GBC. The demonstration should start at 8:00AM; see if RDT is okay with it being this early. Since GBC is pretty far for students to walk ask Jeannie if ICE can afford to pay Folklife Center $100, this will be much easier for all involved. If there is not enough money in ICE account, Mardell and Lynne would be willing to pitch in $20 each. Adobe Middle School for movement class- The principal, Molly Keller thought that the cheerleaders would be the best group. Sarah Jolly is the cheerleading coach. The gym would be available at 2:15, which is their practice time. Angie also contacted the Elko High School cheerleaders. Her idea is to go to Adobe first and then go to the H.S. after. The H.S. has about 40 cheerleaders. Angie checked with the elementary schools but they are doing T for S. Flagview Intermediate has too much going on. Adobe and the H.S. look like the best option. 2:15PM is a little early, but should work if there is nothing going on in the 1:00PM time slot. The students at both of these schools are really interested. Jeannie talked to Mike McFarlane and he is going to give $50 for the RDT refreshments. Yong is not too sure about how many refreshments to provide. At her last event she had 50 brownies and they went in the first 5 minutes. Maybe 100 brownies? Volunteers are still needed. Yong says she has students who are still interested, but the rehearsal is too early for school kids to be there. Door monitors and ticket takers are still needed. Someone to announce evaluations is still needed. Lynne will check with faculty to see if anyone wants to do it. Carl Diekhans said he will announce RDT. Volunteers need to be at the theater to help with the rehearsal at 2:00PM and at 6:00PM for the performance. Mardell volunteered to help. Yong said she can help at 2:00PM, but needs to leave at 3:30PM to teach at 4:00PM. Jeannie has taken care of the cashboxes for ticket sales. Lynne sent revised evaluations to committee members. The committee likes the revised evaluations. Future events: Nick Spitzer is the Cowboy Poetry speaker. Lynne suggested that this event is something the committee should start thinking about. Martin Luther King Jr. Day-have it be a community event. Lynne suggested that ICE invite the Elko High School Choraliers to sing songs of that era. The day to host the event could be a week before or after Martin Luther King Jr. Day, since school is not back on that day. Have the event in the theater and raise money for the Choraliers or give free admission to those who bring a book to donate to the schools or other charity. Lynne thinks this is a win-win situation that is easy to do and a great thing for ICE to do. Baby Boomers would really like the song selections too! The committee really likes this idea, so Lynne will work on it further. The impact on the Foundation donation? Lynne was unsure what Jeannie meant by this, so it can be discussed at the next meeting when Jeannie is in attendance. Angie confirmed the radio tickets and the PSA for the radio stations so that she can continue working on it. Minutes Approval-Approved. Meeting adjourned at 3:00PM ^{ [ } D ij'x<ļ临дhkfhO!h\6h;he%h hh]hhr&&hz]$h"<hyhyH*hjAbhu4h?+h%?h gh/hy-089AB Y Z jk`agdy$a$gdy67FGWXfggdy21h:p// =!"#$% ^ 2 0@P`p2( 0@P`p 0@P`p 0@P`p 0@P`p 0@P`p 0@P`p8XV~_HmH nH sH tH @`@ /NormalCJ_HaJmH sH tH DA D Default Paragraph FontRiR 0 Table Normal4 l4a (k ( 0No List HH ?+ Balloon TextCJOJQJ^JaJNN ?+Balloon Text CharCJOJQJ^JaJPK![Content_Types].xmlj0Eжr(΢Iw},-j4 wP-t#bΙ{UTU^hd}㨫)*1P' ^W0)T9<l#$yi};~@(Hu* Dנz/0ǰ $ X3aZ,D0j~3߶b~i>3\`?/[G\!-Rk.sԻ..a濭?PK!֧6 _rels/.relsj0 }Q%v/C/}(h"O = C?hv=Ʌ%[xp{۵_Pѣ<1H0ORBdJE4b$q_6LR7`0̞O,En7Lib/SeеPK!kytheme/theme/themeManager.xml M @}w7c(EbˮCAǠҟ7՛K Y, e.|,H,lxɴIsQ}#Ր ֵ+!,^$j=GW)E+& 8PK!Ptheme/theme/theme1.xmlYOo6w toc'vuر-MniP@I}úama[إ4:lЯGRX^6؊>$ !)O^rC$y@/yH*񄴽)޵߻UDb`}"qۋJחX^)I`nEp)liV[]1M<OP6r=zgbIguSebORD۫qu gZo~ٺlAplxpT0+[}`jzAV2Fi@qv֬5\|ʜ̭NleXdsjcs7f W+Ն7`g ȘJj|h(KD- dXiJ؇(x$( :;˹!
