Assessment Measure: The methods used to assess the course outcome was an average of the students grades for the steel welding assignments. The students should have a 70% or higher grade. Criterion for achievement: The ability to make satisfactory welds on Steel using the GTAW process. Results: 11 out of the 11 students had a 70% or higher average grade on their steel laboratory assignments using the GTAW process. Criterion Met: Yes 1. Results Analysis: The assessment shows that even though there was a change in the semester that this course was offered students were still able meet the criterion for success. 2. Action Plan: This course will continue to be offered in the Fall semester instead of the Spring Semester. Outcome #2: Stainless steel laboratory welding assignments using the GTAW process. Assessment Measure: The methods used to assess the course outcome was an average of the students grades for the Stainless-steel welding assignments. The students should have a 70% or higher grade.
