In-class discussions and student participation on routines and procedures, NEPF evaluation protocols, Nevada State Standards, and district and GBC expectations. 3. ARL classroom observation with feedback 100% participation for all three measures. Results: 1.All 7 ARL students attended all live class sessions. 2.In each session, all students completed module video observations. During class discussions, all students contributed to discussion content, asked questions based on their individual classroom, school, and district policies and procedures. Additional questions and clarifications were addressed via email in between class meetings. 3.All 7 ARL students completed an observation with feedback. Traci Carbon completed one observation in Winnemucca. Denise Padilla completed the other observations live and via ZOOM for Pahrump, Elko and the final Winnemucca. Criterion Met: Yes/NoResults Analysis: Students met outcome. Action Plan: Start live classes during the regular GBC semester and meet on a monthly basis. We did have some initial scheduling conflicts to overcome as this was a dynamically dated class. Students were trying to set up classrooms and attend district meetings which initially conflicted with our GBC class times. Continue live observation sessions and frequent e-mail interaction. The ARL students have many questions and cant always get them answered within their district. Continuous contact allows us to keep ARL students on track and feeling successful their first semester in the classroom. Rewrite the outcome to match with InTASC standard #9: Professional Learning and Ethical PracticeNotes: This 1 credit class is aspecial topics course intended to highlight the most important concepts for the first day and week of being and Alternative Route to Licensure teacher in a classroom with students. We spent our live class sessions discussing and answering questions related to: Classroom set-up, management, routines and procedures, NEPF evaluations protocols and licensing and hiring questions. This course allows our ARL students to start building a community of other students who are in a similar teaching/learning situation. They come to see GBC as a partner in this journey through the course, not just a place where they take classes. The video observations, discussions, and live classroom observations must all be continued to allow all the students to be comfortable asking questions and working on the initial skills of self-reflection and professional learning which is evaluated within their first NEPF year-long evaluation.
