Criterion for achievement: Students will score 75% or better. Results: The average score of students participating in the discussions was 41.03/50 or 82%. Of the four discussions with a possibly of 52 students possibly participating, 15 did not participate. This equals 28.8% of the students did not engage in the class. Exam 1 was higher with students participating scoring 88.36%. Two students did not participate in the exam. Criterion Met: Yes1. Results Analysis: The issue is the lack of student participation in this type of class. 2 students did not attempt the first exam. By the first discussion in week four, 5 students did not participate. This was typical of the other class discussions. Yet, in the student evaluation, the students were asked what helped their learning they cited the discussions as having helped the most. 2. Action Plan: Due to COVID, This class was converted to an online class, which they were expecting a live class. In the CTE department, they are used to live classes. This possibly negatively affected the student participation. Outcome #2: Understand Human Relations Develop an understanding of how human relations impact the workplace. Assessment Measure: Written Papers 1, 2 3 & 4, In Class Discussions. Exam 4 & 5 Criterion for achievement: Students will score 75% or better.Results: The average score of students participating in the discussions was 41.03/50 or 82%. Of the four discussions with a possibly of 52 students possibly participating, 15 did not participate. This equals 28.8% of the students did not engage in the class. The average score of students participating in the written papers (4) was 67.5%/75 points of 90.0%. 18 of 52 possible assignments were not posted in the class or 34.6% of the time they students did not submit work.* The average score of students participating in Exam 4 was 81.75% with 5 students not participating. and Exam 5 was 84.5% with 5 students not participating.
