They have come to discover that policy and practice are always intertwined. Also, students commented on how each practicum assignment is specific and allows them to focus the time they spend with a lead teacher. 2. Action Plan: Take the 25 practicum hours and create a 15/10 split. With the Spring 2020 COVID shutdown and our limited ability to place students into practicum classrooms where the teachers are ELL certified, we will divide the practicum experience to include 15 hours in the first half of the semester within a live classroom and the last 10 hours at the end of the semester will be focused in online modules through IRIS and Colorin Colorado videos and reflections. InTASC #8: Students will understand and use a variety of instructional strategies to encourage learners to develop a deep understanding of content areas and their connections, and to build skills to apply knowledge in meaningful ways through the creation of an ESL resource folder.Assessment Measure: 1.
